Topics discussed:
- themes for integrating the application to the NORTE2020 initiative: sustainability, climate change, safety and health in a pandemic situation (exploration of ways to ensure compliance with safety rules);
- team potential: combination of interests and knowledge of the groups involved (Lab2PT, ALGORITMI and IPC);
- clarification of the intentions and tasks of the different lines of research mentioned in the project application;
- contact of the secretary Lab2PT Sandra Barbosa;
- status of the hiring of scholarship holders and their presentation;
- status of the acquisition of instruments and equipment necessary for each line of investigation;
- presentation of a schematic schedule of proposed activities and tasks for the start of work in each line of investigation:

• RL1: definition of strategies for the project based on in-depth research on technological interfaces, sensors and public space in order to understand how they are related and the potential to explore possible systems to be implemented in these different contexts to improve the quality of experiences. Mapping and classification of different types of public spaces and types of data/information that can be collected, assessing, in each case, how this space can be improved with the interaction of intelligent systems with people and the environment itself;

• RL2: continuation of the exploration on the topic of tracking people inside and outside buildings and emerging technologies. Development of a flexible infrastructure capable of accommodating rapid technology developments as well as changing and adding new types of sensors. Implementation and development (corrections and alterations) necessary for the integration of systems in the final product, meeting with the remaining lines of investigation;

• RL3: development of the necessary skills to create recycled raw material to be used as a stable material. Assistance in the design and thought of the product that will be the research cluster of the different lines of investigation. Production of final demonstrators from recycled raw material;

- suggestions for advances in RL3: collection of recycled material is crucial for the project and will be carried out by an external company. Ideally, some marketing could be done in order to start the collection of plastics on the Campus or through an association or parish;
- clarification on the use of the server as a "virtual laboratory";
